Welcome!

                                           Who Are We?

The Federated Church of Ashland is a warm, welcoming and growing church family.  While 0ur historical roots come from three Christian denominational bodies: The American Baptist Church, The United Church of Christ and The United Methodist Church, many of our members and friends come from other Christian traditions, or none at all, but have found a spiritual home within our church family.

As a congregation of persons seeking Jesus Christ in our lives, we have made it our mission to extend a message of  “Welcome”, to all who would join us on that journey without regard to anyone’s past history, race, cultural heritage, sexual orientation, gender, political party or any of the other labels which often separate people.

In addition to our Sunday worship, in which we give praise to God by word and song, and the passing on of our faith to our children, we are a congregation which is committed to serving those in need.  We are committed to supporting the Ashland Food Pantry, providing food and temporary shelter to homeless families through the Family Promise Program, preparing and serving meals for a local women’s shelter, working on community projects such as Habitat for Humanity, or operating a Thrift Shop where second hand clothing and household goods are available for nominal costs, among other ministries. If you are a fellow traveler or seeker, looking for more in your life for you and your family within a faith community with Jesus Christ as our center, stop by and speak to our pastor, or simply join us Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM.
